What data we collect

Shopigent Payments accesses minimal Shopify store data necessary for payment processing:

Order information: Order IDs, totals, line item product IDs
Customer data: Customer tags and opaque customer GIDs (for rule-based plan matching)
Product and collection IDs: For rule conditions

The app does not collect, store, or transmit customer personally identifiable information (names, emails, addresses) beyond opaque Shopify GIDs. Payment-sensitive data (credit card numbers, bank accounts) is handled exclusively by Stripe — Shopigent Payments never touches that data.

How we use data

All data is used solely to:

Match payment plans to orders based on merchant-defined rules
Generate deposit payment links via Stripe
Track payment status (deposit captured, balance charged, etc.)
Suggest payment plans via the AI engine (order totals only)

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Payment processing data flows through Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.

Data retention

Data is retained for the duration of your Shopify store's active subscription with Shopigent Payments. Upon uninstalling the app, associated data is removed.
